Subsea Valve Intervention System (retrieval and re-insertion)

In a joint venture with Subsea 7, Kent Introl has collaborated in the creation of a subsea valve intervention system for diver-less applications in the Offshore Oil and Gas industry. This animation demonstrates the complete removal and re-insertion of the valve insert. It shows how the Choke Insert Running Tool (CIRT) ensures safe and controlled retrieval of the subsea valve, to allow for changeout or other intervention. It then shows how the system places the replacement subsea valve safely back into operation.
