Episode 2: 2005 NIssan Altima SE-R; Coilover Upgrade
In this episode the stock suspension of the Altima SE-R is given the coilover treatment. The evolution continues with a simple yet profound swap from stock struts to coilovers. The front of the car was lowered by about 1.5" and the rear by about .75". The final effect is stunning and the handling is increase by leaps and bounds. Most people go for engine modifications and forget that if you can't get the power to the road all of that extra power is worthless. This is a fairly simple and straight forward modification that pays great dividends. It never hurts to make your car look a little cooler too.
