How to Diagnose ZERO OIL PRESSURE | My Saab Story !!

After a short hibernation, I went to take the Saab out for a drive and the oil pressure light on the dash didn't go out like it usually does. I parked the car back into the garage and started investigating. According to the collective braintrust online, the most common cause is a faulty oil pressure sensor. This is fairly inexpesnive part, so I purchased a replacement and installed it ... but still no oil pressure. Next up was to purchase an oil pressure guage to measure the actual pressure, which ended up being absolutely ZERO!!! Back to the internet and the next suggestion was to clean the Pressure Relief Valve, which is a little more involved than the oil pressure sensor, but still an easy DIY project. I pulled the PRV and cleaned it, but still ZERO pressure. I even got a borescope to look inside the PRV opening to check for any dirt or other obstructions.
