Hi! My name is Thiago Cortes and I've already built several Arduino drum modules (many, maybe haha). I've already posted some videos on the subject on my YouTube channel, but due to lack of time, the pandemic, and everything else, I haven't posted anymore. The intention of posting these videos is to pass on knowledge and encourage the "Do It Yourself" culture, as well as curiosity and everything else. I want to clarify that I didn't need a degree in electronics to make the module. Everything I learned was based on willpower and curiosity, so I'm sure that anyone with a little willpower and curiosity can do the project. I hope that by the end of this video series, everyone will be able to make their own drums. I decided to create a series of videos assembling an electronic drum module from scratch. In this video, I'll show the components that will be used to make the module and I'll start assembling the jacks. Throughout the video, I'll give some tips so you can keep everything more organized and show how I assemble everything.
