TIERHEIME und AUFFANGSTATIONEN bald überflüssig durch "Gnadenbrot" Methode?!

We recently saw a video about so-called "reptiles in need of care" and would like to briefly respond to it in this post. We generally welcome initiatives where owners join forces to provide a suitable home for animals that seemingly no one else wants. At the same time, we would like to raise the question of whether taking in an unwanted pet (the so-called "reptile in need of care") can truly solve all the underlying problems in the long run. From our perspective, it is worthwhile to consider preventative approaches – such as better education, a realistic assessment of husbandry, responsibility, market conditions and demand, as well as a more critical examination of acquisition decisions. This is a complex and important topic, and we welcome a constructive exchange of ideas. What are your thoughts? What measures could help ensure that fewer animals end up in shelters or animal rescue centers in the future? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have you been thinking about getting a pet for a long time and would prefer to adopt one from a shelter rather than a pet store? ➡ Apply using our questionnaire: https://www.reptilienauffangstation.d... 📖 Would you like to learn more about our work and our organization? ➡ https://www.reptilienauffangstation.d... 👀 Book a guided tour: ➡ https://www.reptilienauffangstation.d...
