Prasar Bharati Archives presents Tribes of India series. The Konds are a tribal group found in the hills and jungles of Orissa in eastern India. Konds speak a language called Kui and its southern dialect, Kuvi, belong to the Dravidian language (similar to Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada). Kond religion is animistic in nature.
