Merseyrail day out 29th April 2021

Another enjoyable day with Merseyrail on 29th April 2021. Getting into quite a routine with doing these now so apologies if its getting mundane but having travelled on these units for most of my life I've been incredibly lax at actually recording them! Now trying to rectify that before the inevitable happens and they do disappear for good. It'll be a poorer world when I can't hear that ticking noise emanating from under the seat! CO-VID may well have extended their lives a little (that's an ironic sentance!) but the end is gonna come at some point so taking the opportunity while I can. Of course the staying local thing helps as well because, well they're local! Anyway, enough downbeat stuff, plenty of wanderings here and there around Merseyside, including my fist visit up to Southport for probably about 5 years. Up to Low level to see a 6 car set depart for Kirkby 1:32:39 Formby arrivals and departures and onto 508 115 between Bank Hall and Moorfields 1:40:06 507 020/012 with some jointed track loveliness heading from Brunswick to Moorfields.
