AC/DC - Thunderstruck (Cover) | LIVE Extended

Video Edited by: Andrea Gentili So this is the start of essentially my life long passion project --- the pinnacle of covers from The Razor's Edge tour in 1990/1991. This is a huge undertaking and will be in the works for quite a while, but the end goal is a cover of all 23 songs the band played on that tour. All arranged into a single massive setlist, taking formatting and song order from all the different legs of the tour into account. I'm calling this project "LIVE Extended" which is pretty much a direct ripoff from AC/DC Portugal and his fan album "AC/DC LIVE Extended Version". Nailed the best name for it I think. The Collector's Edition of LIVE should have had every song they played on the tour, so idk why they left off Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be. These covers are going to be completely original for the instrumentals. The only thing that can be considered a "backing track" is the crowd noise. All of the drum sounds, guitars, bass, and vocals are all original. And then the mixing is done in a way to make it sound as close to the Backtracks versions of the Donington performances as I can. Been working on this project for a while already. I managed to get all of the drums for all 23 songs recorded before I had to move, so there'll be consistent drum tones across all the tracks. Guitar parts are gonna be the hardest to record going forward as I need to be in a place where I can afford to turn up the Mesa rig to full volume (aka when I get my own house). I also need to buy a rack to place the units in as I've been fighting a feedback hum / loop once things start going for a bit and I believe I've isolated it to the unit vibrating with the cabinet at full volume. Keeping the amp and stuff isolated in a rack unit should hopefully fix this. This is gonna be a "no rush" type of thing like some of the other "series" I've done where I just only focus on this for every bi-weekly full length video. Especially since I'm off-loading some of my video editing over to Andrea (who edits the video for the House Band) because he does excellent work and I want every video in this series to feel special.
