[THIS MATERIAL WAS CREATED IN COOPERATION WITH VOLVO] From June 3, 2026, Polish drivers will face significant changes to regulations aimed at improving road safety. The most significant new change is the definitive end of the option to reduce penalty points for the most serious offenses through participation in re-education courses. This means that those who commit flagrant speeding, drive under the influence of alcohol, or pose a direct threat to pedestrians will no longer be able to avoid severe consequences. Furthermore, the regulations tighten penalties for drifting and wheelie enthusiasts, which are assessed at 10 penalty points, and in the event of a collision, this sum can increase to a level resulting in immediate loss of driving privileges. The changes also affect the youngest road users, as helmets are mandatory for those under 16 years of age riding bicycles, electric scooters, and personal transport devices. All these regulations were implemented to eliminate existing legal loopholes and increase the safety of vulnerable road users. Commercial activities: [email protected]
