Canzoniere Del Proletariato ‎- Le Canzoni Della Lotta Armata In Irlanda [Single]

Promotional 7" single released in 1972 with issue 4-3 of the bi-weekly newspaper of Lotta Continua, an Italian militant left-wing autonomist communist organization that operated from 1969 to 1976. Canzoniere Del Proletariato, also known as Canzoniere Pisano, was a musical group directed by Lotta Continua members Pino Masi and Piero Nissim. The group was formed as Lotta Continua's "official musical voice." This single included three Canzoniere Del Proletariato recordings of "songs of the armed struggle in Ireland," referring to the anti-colonial struggle of the Provisional Irish Republican Army during what is now known as the Troubles.
