Trident Maple Root over Rock Bonsai Uncovered
Growing a root over rock bonsai from seed or cutting takes many years to develop. Therefor the uncovering of roots and showing how they clasp the rock is a celebratory moment. In this video I show a 'timelapse' bonsai development for a trident maple that I have grown over this root for the last years.I clean out the roots twice, prune, wire and repot into a nice container for further development. Are the roots ready yet?
