Situation au Togo: Maman Atakpameto en veut à la classe politique

Dame Dopévi Haden, known as Atakpameto, is convinced that only struggle brings about democracy. An activist alongside Sylvanus Olympio, Togo's first president, she is a symbol of women's political engagement, having participated in nearly every opposition march and rally before and after the country's independence. At 94 years old, she remains as committed as ever and expresses her disappointment with current political events and the current Togolese political class. At her home on Rue des Cheminots in Lomé, Dame Atakpameto granted an exclusive interview to Droit Libre TV.
