Homemade brass fittings lighter

This is a lighter made from brass fittings and a few other things, such as parts from an ordinary Bic lighter, copper tubing, tin solder, cotton wick, and a screw. It runs on ALCOHOL (ethanol, 96%) and works almost every time. Notice that a thread has been made (01:03) inside the tube that will support the flint; since the copper tubing is very soft, a simple screw can create this thread without the need for a threading tap. Parts used: 3/8" union; 3/8" to 1/8" reducing nipple; 3/8" male cap; 1/8" female cap; O-rings for the fittings; Flint, spring, and spark wheel from a Bic lighter; Wick or any cotton cord; 3/16" copper tubing or similar (02:17 the spring and the flint must fit inside freely); Larger copper tubing (02:33) for the spark wheel support; Brass separator (08:07) used to keep the reservoir away from the support; Tin solder; A small screw (to close the spring and the flint inside the tube). Things to improve: I still don't like the spark wheel being exposed like that. If I make another lighter, it will be closed with the lid, inside the main compartment. Speaking of the lid, since it's loose, it's very easy to lose. It would be better if it were secured with a chain or something like that; The soldering work didn't turn out very nice, let's say. I have to do something better next time.
