David Richards talks about Lands End Trial and WRC Past, Present and Future!

An Interview with David Richards as he prepares to take on the 100th Lands End Trial. An event run by the Motor Cycling Club since 1908. Originally an event to help prove the reliability of early motorbike and cars. David Richards sat alongside Ari Vatanen to navigate him the 1981 World Rally Championship in a MK2 Ford Escort RS1800. David is the Chairman of both Motorsport UK and Prodrive , the team behind the Subaru World Rally Cars. He was the team Boss who employed the likes of Colin McRae, Richard Burns, Petter Solberg and Tommi Mäkinen. Today Prodrive take part in the FIA World Endurance Championship with Aston Martin Racing the Dakar and World Rally Raid Championship with Bahrain Raid Xtreme and ran Lewis Hamilton's X44 team in Extreme E. Prodrive have been involved in other motorsports from F1 to Rallycross and Touring cars to the world of Australian V8 Supercars.
