He wants to know what makes people undertake such a difficult journey to reach the places of pilgrimage. On his way he meets several travelers. Lalaji, an aged man who wants to repent for his son's sin. A Punjabi couple who are normal pilgrims. A German man Karl in search of peace. Suman, a handicap Marathi girl who thinks her handicap is actually a punishment from god. Savitri, Suman's companion who wants to pray for her husband's health. During the course of the journey Lalaji dies before he can reach his destination, the Punjabi couple goes back after their daughter falls sick, Karl stays back in the mountains as he found peace there. Suman miraculously gets well and is able to walk again. Suman and Roy develop a bond and fall in love with each other. Despite Savitri's warning Suman decides to accompany Kumar on the dangerous journey to Gomukh. Both of them get trapped in a storm. Though they are aware of their fate they're not scared to die as they know that their souls will unite forever.
