In this video, I'll show you how to install an automatic radiator air vent. These valves can be used in all water-bearing systems. They automatically and continuously vent radiators, pipe registers, pipes, boilers, tanks, or underfloor heating manifolds. The automatic function improves operational reliability (corrosion reduction) and increases user comfort (no air noise). Manual venting allows for rapid filling of systems due to the high venting capacity. INSTALLATION POSITIONS Vertical upwards and horizontally The automatic function of the valve is based on special swellable discs in the valve insert. When dry, the swellable discs allow air and gas to escape. The immediate swelling prevents water from escaping. Manual venting is achieved by loosening the knurled screw, allowing air and gas to escape. Thanks to a built-in check valve, the valve insert (including seal and expansion discs) can be replaced while the system is running.
