I like to remove the headlights to protect them and give much more visibility also if you have parking sensor wiring to remove this will be the best way. This should apply to all Volkswagen Scirocco 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. On the drivers side you'll either need to unclip the bonnet release cable or remove the extra 2 T30 screws to remove the metal plate. There are 4 T25 screws along the top of the bumper above the grille. There are 5 T25 Torx in each wheel arch plus a 6th concealed one behind the wheel arch liner. There are 9 T25 Torx screws under the front of the bumper. Once all the screws are removed carefully drop the bumper down onto carpet or other soft surface and remove all the bumper lamp connectors plus the parking sensor wiring connector. The parking sensor wiring is where it will definitely help to have the headlamp assemblies removed. I really hope this video has helped you and saved you some money.
