Stuart Turner P55 - Generator Project -

New project acquired today. I was offered this engine at a show a couple of weeks back, went to have a look and it didn't disappoint. It's a 7hp two stroke engine, twin cylinder with 180 degree crank. It should sound pretty good when working hard and guzzle lots of petrol! It's an ex generator engine and would date from some time between 1935 and 1943. The plan is to find a big alternator for it to drive and provide power for the evening "light up's" we have at some engine rallies, which are becoming ever more popular.
