Homelab 101: Tailscale on Unraid

Accessing your Unraid server and the containers it runs from anywhere shouldn't require a Ph.D. in networking. If you are tired of messing with port forwarding, dealing with CGNAT, or worrying about security, this video is for you. Welcome to Episode 1 of Homelab 101! Today, we are setting up Tailscale on Unraid. Tailscale is a zero trust, WireGuard based VPN that creates a secure "tailnet" for all your devices. I'll walk you through the entire setup, including how to access your WebGUI remotely, route your subnets, and even give specific Docker containers (like Plex) their own secure remote access. All without opening a single port on your router.
