OLD SCHOOL HERB ROASTED TURKEY This recipe if u follow it correctly will give you the most beautiful moist flavorful turkey you ever prepared Recipe 1 turkey 10-20lb OLD SCHOOL HERB butter OLD SCHOOL turkey brine 1 cup large chopped onions 1 cup large chopped celery 1 cup large chopped carrots Open and rinse turkey Remove bags of giblets and necks Place turkey in in large pot or bucket Pour brine over turkey let sit for 24 hours in fridge Remove turkey from brine and completely pat dry with paper towel Place carrots onions and celery in cavity of bird Completely baste turkey with HERB butter Season with salt and pepper Add 2 cups of water to pan and place in 350 degree oven and cook for 3 hours or until completely cooked Make sure you baste every 30 minutes with HERB butter ENJOY!!!
