Rome Day Trip to Nemi – The Most Beautiful Little Town You've Never Heard Of

If you have never heard of Nemi don't let that fool you. Nemi was a big surprise for us and we could not believe how beautiful the town is. It is only about 20 miles from the center of Rome but is not easy to get to there, but worth the effort. How is it possible that the small town of Nemi has the best deli I have ever seen! Nemi is a great place for a day trip from Rome. Located just south in the Castelli Romani area. The town is know for its strawberries but it should be know for the best deli ever! Seeing & eating at this deli was worth the trip alone. On the way out of town we had a nice thunderstorm. The music in the video is from a street performer I saw on the subway in Rome.
