Thanks for your support ❤️ Week 53 doesn't start where the last video left off – and not even in the same country. After crossing the border, we've now arrived in Romania. Without a long break, we head straight to a place we've been looking forward to for a very long time: the Transfăgărășan. Despite the bad weather, we drive into the famous mountain pass – and are rewarded with something completely unexpected after just a few kilometers: bears along the road. 🐻 We drive as far as we can and then find a place to spend the night. The next day, we decide to stay longer to explore the region more thoroughly. The road then descends and climbs again – and once more we're surprised: a mother bear with her two cubs right by the roadside. A moment we'd been waiting for. After another night at our campsite, we continue down the mountain the next morning. This time we get even closer to the bears – an impressive, yet sensitive experience that highlights the importance of respecting wildlife. From there, the route takes us towards Sibiu. The scenery along the way is breathtaking, and we find a quiet spot for the night. The next day, we explore Sibiu with a walking tour of the old town – despite a somewhat difficult search for parking. That was week 53 – see you next week!
