90's Commercials Vol. 425
These commercials aired on TBS on October 29th, 1995 1. GE Profile Washer 2. Salon Selectives 3. Chevron Techron 4. SmartLease by GMAC 5. Culligan 6. TBS Movie Sunday Intro 7. TBS Commercial Bumper 8. Promo for "Dinner And A Movie" (Featuring "Urban Cowboy") 9. Dizzy Grizzlies 10. Pringles (With Taj Mowry. Jessica Biel can also be seen in a few shots) 11. TBS Commercial Bumper 12. Promo for "Legend" and "Dragonslayer" 13. Vicks VapoRub Cream 14. Tide 15. Promo for "National Geographic Explorer" 16. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (Back when Nintendo was trying to make gross out, edgy EXTREME marketing to compete with Sega and other companies trying to out edge each other. Yoshi's Island is a great game and deserved better) 17. Super Stretch Ninja 18. Simon (So it's a good thing to have a part of your soul trapped in graffiti?) 19. Promo for "National Geographic Explorer" 20. Mouse Trap (Did anyone actually play this as a board game from start to finish? Everybody I know just went straight to setting up the traps) 21. Tyco Rebound 22. My Super Magic Diary (Looks like sort of an early PDA that could send texts, pretty high tech for '95) 23. Trouble 24. TBS Commercial Bumper 25. McDonald's (Frankenstein to Ronald: "My culture is not a costume") 26. Instrumental Gold 27. TBS Commercial Bumper 28. Karate Fighters 29. Power Spark Welding Set (Lets those kids who really into...welding...finally live out their fantasies) 30. Fantastic Sticker Maker (I had a pog maker back then that was somewhat similar looking) 31. Miracle Mop 32. Promo for "Diggstown" 33. Tirestorm 34. Twister 35. Gentlemen Of Gospel (South Park's "Faith + 1" parody comes to my mind...) 36. Rice Krispies (But...WHY are there tiny children on the breakfast table?) 37. Godzilla King Of The Monsters 38. Promo for "Family Matters" (Shows how much this show had descended into self parody and had basically become "The Urkel Show" at this point) 39. Skittles (Totally forgot about this commercial. It definitely has a Halloween vibe) 40. Snickers 41. 1-800-FLOWERS 42. Promo for "Cartoon Planet" (This was a spinoff of "Space Ghost Coast To Coast") 43. Snickers 44. M&M's 45. BreathAsure (With George Kennedy. The history of this product is somewhat fascinating. After several inquiries were made by the Better Business Bureau into the effectiveness of the product and the claims made in their advertising, they were eventually barred from using the branding "BreathAsure" by the FTC as it was deemed deceptive. The company eventually filed for bankruptcy in 2001 but the product is still sold under the brand MintAsure, which has a mint flavored coating)
