Our Murray Kilowatt "budget cross kart" build is so close to completion! In today's episode, we change the gearing to help our belt slipping problem. The Kawasaki 440cc 2 stroke engine sourced from a snowmobile is very powerful, but the power can't get to the wheels most of the time! When the 38hp go kart does put down full power, it does small wheelies from standing starts and has a top speed of nearly 50mph (greater than 50mph if we had a proper drag strip!).
