It all started with a simple, empty box of chocolates in my office… and ended up becoming an incredible journey to the official Garoto factory store, the sweetest spot in Espírito Santo. In the video, I tell the story of how Garoto began in 1929, founded by a German immigrant named Henrique Meyerfreund, and grew to become one of the largest chocolate factories in Latin America. I also talk about the power struggle between his heirs, Nestlé's purchase of the brand, and the entire bureaucratic process that led to Nestlé only taking over 100% of the company in 2023. In the store, I show you what the experience is like inside, including the products, prices, curiosities, and that nostalgic touch that only Garoto has.
