Tiger 1 Update & Channel Build Contest 2 0

Hello everyone and welcome back to Old Dad's Modeling Mess. In today’s video I bring you a quick Tiger 1 update and the 2nd attempt at the channel’s 1st ever build contest. This will be a short video because it’s just to damn hot out to get any work done on the model side of the garage. As you can see I have primed, painted and free handed the camo on the Tiger 1. I’ve also decided to leave the exhaust covers on upside down lmao. I do have the panel lines on along with the 1st round of chipping. All that is really left to do is to finish the chipping, get the tracks painted as best as possible for them being the rubber band tracks and then weathering it. I’ve also decided that once I’m done with the Tiger 1 I’m going to build the Horch 4x4 type 1a. I hope it’s as fun as the Willys Jeep was. I still don’t have any real plans for a small diorama for it so any suggestions are welcome. Ok now onto the Channels 1st ever build contest 2.0. Last time I didn’t really think things out and realizing my mistake I figured we will try again. This time it will start on Aug. 1st and go until the end of the year. I figure 5 months should be plenty of time for those who may be in the middle of a build at the moment. This will be the same as last attempt, a scratch build/kit bash with an armor theme. If you already have something built you can enter it as well. You can use 3d printed parts so this contest should be good for everyone. The real only rule to the contest is you must be a member of our discord. This is so you can post pictures of your build in the channel build contest channel this way I can use them to make a video of everyone’s builds. You the viewers will decide who wins and my build will not be able to be voted on.
