Guardian Bee Apparel compared, a Suit for all seasons, Protective Clothing for Bee Keepers

Two VERY nice beekeeping suits. Full suits, one standard with many extra pockets and knee reinforcement, and one vented suit with opening veil! Ventilated Suites keep you protected while you stay cool, they cost more and are heavier but you won't notice the weight in exchange for perspiration free comfort. IF you are only going to own one suit, choose vented, you can always wear more clothing underneath if you are in a "sting-storm" or if you want to be warmer. I like them both and with summer in full swing, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the ventilation! There are things I really like about both suit designs and as with many beekeeping decisions, suits are really about personal preferences and practices. MY FAVORITE SUITE is no bee-suit at all, but there are definitely times when you simply have to protect yourself as well as the bees.
