Warderick Wells Adventures - SV Cabo #103

As you will see, we have a quiet morning as the sun comes over the horizon. The warmth of the sun is an amazing experience that we mostly take for granted. There is a slight Bahamian breeze adding a little wind chop to the water. The always changing wind speed and direction continually changes the personality of the day and adds to the morning experience. The tide is high and all the boats are quietly resting on their mooring balls in the deep part of the channel. Warderick Wells is an amazing destination which you are about to see. There is plenty of marine life to see and as the water is super clear, it is easy to enjoy the sea life swimming by the boat We perform a little work on the dinghy outboard as there is a low-speed overheating issue so we change the raw water impeller. Unfortunately, the seal beneath the impeller was not in great shape so this impeller change did not resolve the overheating a low speed. The seal was replaced after Paul and Daphna returned to Florida and that resolved the problem. The tide is starting to go out and the sand bar is starting to be revealed. With the sun overhead the turquoise waters really start to pop and this rainbow of turquoise shades just might be my favorite set of set of colors. The clarity of the water and the beauty here is just breathtaking and is something that I have always wanted to see first-hand. While I am thoroughly enjoying the spectrum of super clear turquoise waters, the bad news is that all other bodies of water will never measure up to this standard.
