Jesus Christ Did NOT Pre-Exist Part 2 - The Faith of Christ

If Jesus Christ had existed in a previous life and retained memories of His time among the celestial beings—where He witnessed His Father and the angels and participated in the co-creation of everything—did He truly possess perfect faith while on earth? This question fundamentally challenges both the doctrine of the Trinity and the concept of the pre-existence of Christ as being flawed. Is there anything more vital to our justification than the faith of Christ? His faith has brought salvation to all humanity through God's grace! If Jesus had observed His Father’s work before and recalled those experiences as He grew up in Israel, why would He have worried about His Father’s ability to raise Him from the dead? He was so succumbed to fear in the garden that He began sweating blood. He begged God to take away His future suffering if it were possible. Does this sound like the actions of a man who pre-existed? It is essential to realize that He faced not only the pain and shame of crucifixion but also the fear of death and what it means to no longer exist. This meant confronting complete separation from His God and Father. And yet He endured all of this and obeyed His Father’s will. He put all His faith in Him all the way up to His death. This beautiful story and example of authentic saving faith are polluted when you add the man-made doctrine of pre-existence. Wouldn’t His faith and obedience in being “obedient unto death, even the death of the cross” be less meaningful if He already knew His Father’s goodness from witnessing Him in action, in all His glory in the celestials? Christ can't have existed literally before His divine conception in the womb. He couldn’t have any memories of a previous life because this would nullify His faith, which, according to Hebrew 11:1, the verse we started with, means “an assumption of what is being expected, a conviction concerning matters which are not being observed.” And if He pre-existed, then they would’ve been observed, making it impossible for Jesus to experience genuine faith.
