Which Captures Can Beat Mario Odyssey?

Is it possible to beat Mario Odyssey as ANY capture. Like if you started as a Goomba, in Cap Kingdom, could you make it to the end of Moon Kingdom? Generally, that answer is no, but what if we let every capture start at the beginning of every kingdom. How many moons could we get then? This video explores that idea to the fullest extent possible, I spent hundreds of hours beating the game nearly 30 times and condensed all that work down into this video. I hope you enjoy it because this took forever. Chapters Intro: 0:00 Podoboo: 2:18 RC Car: 3:13 Moe-Eye: 8:43 Mario Letters: 12:57 Lakitu: 16:11 Jizo Statue: 25:09 Bullet Bill: 28:57 Banzai Bill: 32:15 Chargin’ Chuck: 39:53 Sherm: 43:50 Cheep Cheep: 46:07 Tropical Wiggler: 51:51 Tyfoo: 1:06:15 Coin Coffer: 1:11:45 Goomba: 1:16:39 T-Rex: 1:22:34 Gushen: 1:32:50 Glydon: 2:01:46 Dry Bones + Paragoomba: 2:32:27 Uproot: 2:44:33 Frog: 2:51:35 Shiverian Racer: 3:06:26 Fire + Hammer Bro: 3:27:13 Yoshi: 3:33:27 Bowser: 3:46:36 Pokio: 4:00:04 Outro: 4:17:36 I excluded 23 captures from this challenge for a variety of reasons. Generally this is because they can’t do anything or spawning them breaks the game in awkward ways. Below is the list of my reasoning for every capture. They’re grouped together based on reason. Spark Pylon/Zipper/Boulder/Manhole/Bowser Statue Moves along a preset path so I can’t “play” Mario Odyssey just as the capture Chain Chomp/Big Chain Chomp This is the only capture I didn’t include that I think can get a moon. If I learned this earlier in the development of the video I may have included them. Normally the chain chomp is confined to a small circle but if you keep holding in one direction the game doesn’t actually stop you, making it possible to travel across flat or downward terrain. This means the Chain chomps could likely collect “On the Lakeshore” in Lake Kingdom using Cappy and that’s it. Broode’s Chain Chomp/Knucklotec’s Fist Would require spawning in a boss which breaks things Binoculars/Poison Piranha Plant/Fire Piranha Plant/Pole/Volbonan Can not move Cactus/Tree Moving a small distance from where it starts forces an uncapture. It wouldn’t be far enough for any moons. Mini Rocket/Taxi Moves along a set path to load a sub area Puzzle Part (Lake)/(Metro) This is a puzzle piece designed to move within a predefined grid, so I can’t just place it in another kingdom and have it work as intended Picture Match Part (Goomba)/(Mario) You could probably get these to work but because they’re attached to an in-game puzzle it could be weird. The capture itself would also be redundant. If we implemented it they’d likely be somewhere in the middle of RC Car and Moe-Eye.
