Coated Bolt Corrosion Test
A week long time lapse showing the most commonly used bolts to secure airfield ground lights, and how well they stand up to corrosion. All of the bolts were sprayed repeatedly with a 5% w/v salt water solution during the test. After 7 days, the bolts were rinsed and dried thoroughly before being inspected. *This test was not designed to simulate real world conditions, but rather to promote corrosion at an accelerated rate.
