Raccoon Creek State Park Backpacking (Overnight) & Mineral Springs Waterfall

Mike and I headed to Raccoon Creek State Park for an overnight backpacking trip. Starting at the Park Office, we hiked counter-clockwise on a trail loop that circled the entire outer edge of the park. The Heritage Trail took us to the dam and then the Forest Trail headed northwest to the Pioneer Campsites where we spent the night. The next day we took the Apaloosa Trail back to the Heritage Trail and finished up at the Mineral Springs waterfall. The weather stayed nice for us after weeks of constant rain.
