We came to Doğubeyazıt to make our 7th climb of Mount Ararat and prepare for Mount Kilimanjaro, but we were turned back on the way. Apparently, we needed permission. It's fine, but getting a permit shouldn't be harder than climbing the mountain. But what does a permit really solve when there's so much conceptual confusion and so many unresolved issues?
