This was my first day ever railfanning at Rose Yard and my first look at the impressive Juniata Locomotive Shop, all in Altoona, PA. Featuring not just heritage and foreign units, but also short line units. The only short line units featured in this episode were two Carload Express Delmarva Central MP15AC switchers, originally built for the Southern Pacific Railroad. NS 1066, the New York Central heritage unit was a surprise. Also, the road bridge that goes over the yard provides a nice view of yard movements and crew changes. #NorfolkSouthern #JuniataShops #RailroadYard
