Silent Hiking The Austrian Alps For 4 Days

Join us on a 53km 4 day hike through the beautiful Silvretta range of the Austrian Alps On day one, we started our trek in Ischgl in very hot weather, steadily gaining elevation as we followed the trail up through the valley to the Heidelberger Hütte. Though the first day was quite hot, we were lucky to have great weather overall for the entire trip. It also helped that we were above 2000m almost the whole time. On day two, we pushed through to the Jamtalhütte, but that hike turned out to be pretty tough and sketchy due to the heavy snow near the peaks. Because of those conditions, we decided to change our original plan of hiking directly from Jamtal to the Wiesbadener Hütte the next day. To start day three we headed down the valley to Galtür, took a bus to the Silvrettasee reservoir, and hiked up to the Wiesbadener Hütte from there. Then on the fourth and final day we hiked back down to the reservoir where our trip ended.
