La biodiversité, un outil pour le futur [Marc-André Selosse]

🎥 Science Space Tuesdays 🎤 https://www.espace-sciences.org/renne... Biodiversity is a multifaceted concept too often reduced to a list of species. It encompasses other aspects, such as genetic diversity within species and the diversity of effects and impacts of species on their surrounding environment. This last point, functional biodiversity, shapes our environment, our food, and our health: without it, we are nothing. If we approach it this way, numerous examples show that biodiversity in all its forms is a tool for human, animal, and plant health. Tomorrow, we will need to better understand its properties and consider it as a sustainable lever in our actions, whether agricultural or health-related. With Marc-André Selosse, professor at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris and at the University of Gdansk (Poland). 📖 Biodiversity as Humanism (Seuil, 2026) 👉 https://www.seuil.com/ouvrage/de-la-b... 🔴 Rules for the comment section (failure to comply will result in a ban from the moderation team): Respect our speakers and team members Mutual respect in the discussion space No advertising or spam Reminder: Any comment that infringes upon the physical and/or moral integrity of individuals will be automatically deleted 🎹 Theme music composed by https://benjaminlebaron.bandcamp.com/ Photo: © rostichep (Pixabay) / Pixabay / Espace des sciences Our networks: Facebook 👉   / espacedessciences   Bluesky 👉 https://bsky.app/profile/espacedessci...
