How to spin - Super Chunky Core Spun Kid Mohair Locks
In tonight's video I am sharing a super easy spinning technique for all levels. Ingredients: 1. Core yarn 4-8ply in a wool 2. 100g of Kid Mohair Locks (I am using premium Angora Kid Mohair from Kids first shear. The younger the locks to softer the locks. 3. Plying thread (I am using Mulberry Silk with Nepps 60/2) Preparation time: 1. Kid mohair needs to be washed if it isn't already. 2. give yourself up to 2 weeks to separate the locks. 3. This yarn took me all of 1 hour 16mins to complete. 4. Steam with cloths or iron steamer to set it gently and to avoid felting. 5. let it dry.
