To create new behavior in programs (such as run-time conjugating of names), you must write program code. Writing program code in assembler is not always desirable, so we create languages where things can be expressed in more abstract ways. But those languages eventually have to be compiled/translated into assembler. In this video series we explore, through example, what it takes to create a compiler. This is a 360° video.
