Hello 😊 When you make one piece, do you cut many pieces or do you have fabrics that you cut into squares or hexagons so that you can make something anyway 🤔 and they are just lying there 😊? I tend to accumulate them because I love to touch and cut my favorite fabrics 😊. So I came up with this... Iron on one-sided adhesive cotton, lining it up more and more as you like, and then free sewing machine quilting and pressing 😊 That's all there is to it. This time, I used a cotton swab, which I think every household has one, to hold the sewing machine and quilted evenly spaced lines without drawing lines. To avoid staining the hold down, I put double sided tape on top of a weak adhesive masking tape that can be reapplied many times and fixed the cotton swab on top of it😊. This will withstand the vibration of the sewing machine as I continue sewing. I recommend using a pen to mark the location of the cotton swab where it will hit the sewing machine hold down at the beginning, in case the cotton swab gets detached or displaced in the middle of the process. I sewed a pretty ribbon lace where there was a large gap in the piece, and finally sewed a wide lace all the way around to create my favorite tapestry. I plan to use it as a computer cover😊.
