Air Traffic Control audio captures the moment NYPD chopper responds to small plane crash in East River Sunday, July 5. Authorities say the plane landed upright in the river, between Brooklyn and Manhattan. Eight people were helped off the plane. Two reportedly had minor injuries but declined treatment at the scene.
