Studies underway to improve brain health in oxygen-deprived newborns
Loss of oxygen supply and blood flow to the brains of babies during birth can result in serious complications and even death. Researchers at UT Southwestern are involved in two studies to identify possible interventions that could significantly increase the chances for healthy brain function of affected babies.
