First Time Fly Fishing on a Drift Boat | Coeur d'Alene River Cutthroat Trout

We headed up the Coeur d'Alene River to camp, cook some good food, and finally learn how to fly fish. ive enlisted my buddy who guides this river to help me learn the ropes. The goal is to get onto some native cutthroat trout. Before getting into camp, we had a few hours to burn… so we brought the dirtbikes, threw our bear tags in our pockets, and went to see what we could get into. From there it’s everything we enjoy most— good camp, a solid meal, and time on the water trying to learn something new. The goal wasn’t to be great at it… just to take the time to understand it.
