The 116th speaker of the SUBÜ Talks series is Prof. Dr. Ahmet Turan Özdemir, General Manager of ASPİLSAN Energy, with a talk titled "The Oil of the New Era: Lithium-Ion." Moderated by Prof. Dr. Emre Güzel, the talk will discuss the role of battery technologies in reducing dependence on fossil fuels, the place of lithium in the global supply chain and Türkiye's position in this equation, and the importance of Turkey producing its own cells for the defense industry and civilian technologies.
