Our first day in India started in Delhi… and nothing could have prepared us for what we experienced. From the chaos and energy of Chandni Chowk to the history and beauty of the Red Fort, this city hit us with everything at once. It’s intense, overwhelming, beautiful and impossible to ignore. We slowed things down at the Gandhi museum, learning more about the life of Mahatma Gandhi, before stepping into the peaceful architecture of the Lotus Temple. And just when we thought we had seen it all, Delhi gave us one last moment...sunset at India Gate, surrounded by locals, noise, and life happening all around us. This wasn’t just a first day.
