Applying Glazing Stain with Tom McLaughlin

I’m applying burnt umber glazing stain to a cherry Demilune Table I made recently. It was first stained lightly with an aniline dye stain (Early American Honey tone amber medium, from Woodfinishing Enterprises, 1/2 tsp to 20 oz water with two coats applied). Then it was sealed with Sealcoat shellac, 1-1/2 lb cut. I’m trying to create a more harmonious tone with a rich antique quality.
