Largest-ever flotilla of world's tall ships will celebrate July 4th
A flotilla of tall ships and military vessels is making its way up the Atlantic coast as part of the summer-long Sail250 event with stops before July 16 at three more cities that helped forge the American nation — Baltimore, New York and Boston. The sail-rigged tall ships range from massive vessels like Spain’s Juan Sebastian de Elcano and Germany’s Gorch Fock to the U.S. Coast Guard cutter Eagle and Italy’s elegant Amerigo Vespucci (once called “the most beautiful ship in the world”). 0:00 The number of tall ships heading to New York Harbor 1:21 The ships that will be joining the celebration 4:56 CNN sails on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle tall ship Watch 24/7 live news with CNN Headlines: https://bit.ly/4eIvlTr #independenceday #celebration #News
