This MVC Preoperative Testing Workgroup hosted on May 14, 2024, featured a presentation by Whitney Soule, Nursing Quality Coordinator at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital. This presentation highlighted Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital's successful efforts to reduce preoperative testing before low-risk surgeries. Following Whitney's presentation, Jana Stewart, Project Manager for MVC, provided updates on a new preoperative testing website titled ritesizetesting.org developed by MSQC, MPrOVE, and MVC and shared a new resource for engaging primary care physicians.
