Both brands are from Japan and very beloved and popular there. Since they have gained popularity in western countries as well I will compare Turner to Holbein which is still the most known and hyped. Even though they are both Acrylic Gouache paints and look similar at first glance they are different at closer look. I got various paints from Turner, including their Pastel line, some Japanesque paints and even a Retarder Medium. They were shipped from Japan.
