► An internal background paper from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the new drafts of the 2027 Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) and the grid connection package for the industry consultation have surfaced! The leak occurred overnight, and everyone is rubbing their eyes in disbelief this morning. What does it contain? What does it mean for rooftop solar panels, wind power in the south, and the grid and storage systems? ► In this video, I take a detailed look at the government's two-page statement and put the planned changes into perspective for you. We discuss the new "overall system view," the billions in costs associated with redispatch, and why the "produce and forget" principle—the guarantee of priority grid access for the past 25 years under the EEG—could be coming to an end.
