Island Cup XC Rd 6 Hammerfest 07 May

My first "short distance" race since returning rom the Volcanic Epic 5 Day Stage Race in New Zealand. This is a course that doesn't really suit me anymore... when I first arrived in Canada THIS was the type of courses I was used racing to in Southern England - but that was 18+ years ago - and I've done a whole lot Sooke and South Island riding since then - and a lot more tech and rock up and down. But lets not let that - and the fact that I am the 2nd oldest competitor at the event... yep... how time flies!
